BEITAR ELITE:

Hundreds of Residents Gather for the Monthly Public Kiddush L'vana Event to Bring About the Revelation of Moshiach Tsidkeinu

As is its custom every month, Machon Beis Moshiach-770 Rabbinical Institute of Beitar Elite once again hosted its monthly outdoor public Kiddush L'vana event to bring about the revelation of Moshiach Tsidkeinu, on Motsai Shabbos Parshas BeShalach, outside under the stars.

At 7:45 PM, the intersection of Pachad Yitzchok and Brim Streets in Givah "B" was closed off to traffic, and the organizers began preparing the area to welcome the hundreds of participants who were due to arrive at the giant event. After a few minutes, the music commenced with joyous Chabad niggunim, making one and all break out in spontaneous Chassidic dance for quite a while until the Blessing of the New Moon began. Upon the conclusion of the Kiddush L'vana ceremony, those present watched a video of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach, after which a raffle for sifrei Kodesh, as well as a child's bicycle, was held.  Towards the close of the event, those present were given a last opportunity to take part in the minhag of dancing at the Kiddush L'vana celebration. R' D'niel Goldberg, founder and Director of the Institute, pointed out that the mitzvah of Kiddush L'vana is the only one regarding which the halacha states explicitly that it is a Mitzva to dance.  This event, along with the numerous other activities pioneered by the Institute, also serves to strengthen Beitar Elite's residents in their hiskashrus to the Rebbe Shlita, and deepen their belief in, and yearning for, the complete and imminent revelation of the Rebbe as Melech HaMoshiach.
